Our Heritage

With a belief that everyone deserves restful sleep on a quality mattress, President/Owner David Nguyen founded US Bedding in 2000. The company would be built on the foundation of producing American-made mattresses of superior quality, in a range of price points, delivered on time, with relationship-focused and highly personalized service.

To accomplish this, David purchased a 25,000-square-foot factory in Canton, MA. Within five years, the business had outgrown this facility. David was drawn to Fall River, MA, for its rich history in textile manufacturing and began looking for a new space. A 148,000-square-foot mill built in 1874 to make cotton cloth was found. Located on Quarry Street in the heart of Fall River, this storied mill would become the headquarters of U.S. Bedding.

Late in 2020, with expansion in his business plan, manufacturing was relocated to a vacant 150,000-square-foot facility on Grinnell Street just minutes from headquarters. This move would facilitate the purchase of state-of the-art machinery, allowing for mattress components to be produced in-house, drastically increasing efficiency. It also expanded the product offering to include mattress toppers and sleeping pillows.

U.S. Bedding is now one of the major mattress manufacturers on the East Coast servicing the hospitality, education, institutional, and retail markets. We are unique in that we have ample capacity to service volume-branded customers, provide private label products to mid-size companies, and develop bespoke products for the design community.

Today, U.S. Bedding remains a family-owned and operated business managed with the same guiding principles on which it was founded. We take pride in our heritage and the fact that we are a certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) through the state of Massachusetts. We work closely with city business development agencies to do our part in having a positive impact on the local economy and are boastful of the highly skilled and resolute professionals whose craftmanship is ever present in our best-in-class products.
